The last of the four El Clasico this season is finally here. Will Real Madrid finally manage to win the last El Clasico of this season? The chances of this happening are quite low as Madrid hasn’t been able to win the last three El Clasico of this season.

In the first encounter between these two sides, Barcelona thrashed Madrid 5-1, which led to the departure of Julen Lopetegui. During the second El Clasico, Madrid gave a tough competition to their arch-rivals under Santiago Solari.

The third battle took place at Santiago Bernabeu this week. Barcelona once again got better of their opponents as they won 3-0. In this encounter, Madrid performed brilliantly but their miserable finishing cost them the final place in the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona were not at their best but still managed to score three goals against Madrid. This shows how good the Blaugrana roster is this season. Los Blancos defense was wide open and that cost them the only Silverware trophy that they could have won this season.

In the last week La Liga game, Barcelona thrashed Sevilla 4-2 in an away game with Lionel Messi scoring the hat-trick. Madrid, on the other hand, somehow managed to win 2-1 against Levante.

As of now, the Blaugrana are the leaders of La Liga with seven points more than the second-placed Atletico Madrid. While Real Madrid are in the third position with seven points off Barcelona.

Injury Update

Marcos Llorente is injured and might get sidelined for this fixture. While Nacho was sent off in the last game against Levante, which will make him miss this crucial fixture.
