The first half of the Premier League 2018-19 season was filled with drama and enthralling football.

Some big clubs such as Manchester City and Chelsea dropped down in the points table after a phenomenal start. While Liverpool carried on their phenomenal performances and are currently leaders of the Premier League with six points above second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal went through a managerial change and they did shock everybody with their performances. However, they were once again hit by injuries and that made them slip down to the fifth spot in the points table.

Manchester United, on the other hand, faced a lot of issues and dropped a lot of points in the starting, which led to the sacking of Jose Mourinho in the mid-season. However, this did turn out to be a good decision. As Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got the Red Devils back on the winning track with four consecutive wins.

Leicester City had a slow start to their new season but their two back to back wins against Manchester City and Chelsea shocked everyone. The rest of the Premier League sides are still trying to find their form and the fight is on for the Europa League. While the bottom feeders are in a battle to avoid the relegation.

We have kept in mind individual stats and recent performances. More importance was given if the player was from a relatively smaller club.

Now, not wasting any more time, let’s find out, who made it to our Half-Yearly Premier League Team of the 2018-19 season.
