The Premier League has always been known for great attackers with incredible pace and dribbling skills.
The first player that made it to our forwards’ list is Eden Hazard. The Chelsea winger had a great start to the new season but then slowed down in a couple of games. Despite this, Hazard racked up 10 goals and nine assists in 19 league appearances. The Belgian winger is one of the reasons why the Blues are still in the top-four spot. Other than Hazard, the player we considered for this position for Ryan Fraser.
The Bournemouth winger’s four goals and nine assists are impressive considering his teammates’ quality. Hazard’s big game performances and versatility, however, make him our choice.
On the other side of the wing, we have none other than Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian winger had a slow start to his second season with Liverpool. The reason being that he feared getting injured that could have sidelined him again. However, the Liverpool winger regained his confidence during the game against Bournemouth, where he scored a hat-trick. This performance was a perfect reply to all the critics, who termed Salah as “one season wonder”.
The winger has scored 13 goals along with providing seven assists in his 20 league appearances. He has provided constant support to his teammates from the left flank and has been productive in front of the goal.
The last man that completes our Half Yearly Premier League Team of 2018 is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. I know many of you might think that Harry Kane should have been in this position considering that he is leading goal scorer in the league. However, the Englishman hasn’t been consistent and that’s the one thing that makes Aubameyang standout.
The inclusion of the Gabonese striker has made Arsenal a lethal striking force. Aubameyang has phenomenal pace and his ability to finish from anywhere inside the box makes him a big threat. His goals have definitely helped Unai Emery please rabid fan base.
